Smoothie bowls are really popular right now. There are some that over the top and some that may lack in looks. It really is not hard to make a smoothie bowl that you will love to make and eat. Let’s talk about how simple it is to construct a smoothie bowl.

When you get ready to make a smoothie bowl think about the rainbow of different foods you can add to it. I try to keep it at 3-5 different ingredients to add to the top.
Let’s talk about the base, with is actually the smoothie it self. This is where you can make your own smoothie or just add acai berry as the base. Frozen acai berry is located in the frozen section of the store by the fruits. Most bases for a smoothie bowl use acai berry.
I make smoothies all the time I like to make my own base. Below are the choices I used for this smoothie.
- 1 cup of spinach
- 1 cup of frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
- 1/2 tablespoon of protein powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of chia seeds
- 1/2 cup of water (you can use almond milk or apple juice)
Now it’s time to think about what I want to add on top. Rainbow colors are always inspiration when thinking about what to add. You should add things that taste good and healthy.

That’s all you have to do. You have the base and the toppings. Now it it is time to put your toppings on top of your base… make it pretty. I sprinkled the hemp seeds over the fruit .
Constructing a smoothie bowl is not hard it does take a little time to cut of the fruits and veggies you want to use, but once that is complete it is time to put it all together and eat!
