I love when people ask me how I am able to exercise with working full time, having 4 kids, and starting a business.
It really is all about managing my time and exercising when it best for me and my family.
I am an early morning person and like to get up early and get things done. So when planning out my week I plan out my exercises. If I go running I am up at 3:30am and out of my house by 4:20am to run with BGR.
On the days I don’t run and go the YMCA by 5:00 am and commit to a one hour workout.
If I don’t do either and I have to take the kids along…we usually go to the park or to the elementary school by my home. I am able to exercise and they are able to play. If I have a run that I need to get in I have a running stroller for the toddler and my nine year old will ride his bike.
I always try to find family friendly options when I have to work out with the kids. I will also include them in my workout which is always fun.
There is no excuse not to be physically active… I know when my daughter was only a few months old I also worked out at home.
Family and exercise can work well together and it can be incorporated in everyone’s schedule.
